Room-Owning Women of 2019: CAROLINE GOYDER. Caroline is a fantastic voice coach, speaker and author of one of the best books ever on presenting: Gravitas: Communicate with Confidence, Influence and Authority. She has a book on Finding Your Voice coming out later this year that I look forward to banging on about endlessly. She has fantastic calm charisma and is brilliant at giving speaker and performance tips, from the point of view of someone who has worked with professional performers and corporates at the top level. Check out her TEDx talk, The Surprising Secret to Talking with Confidence, and she has a ton of resources on her website. Once when I was having a massive meltdown in Edinburgh, I downloaded her mini audio download on Dealing With Nerves and it sorted me out in five minutes. (I might have also had a small glass of wine.)
